ODMA Fair

Odma what? ODMA is like the motor show for the optical industry. In July Norm, Di, Dean and Judith attended ODMA. We looked at alot of new ranges and equipment. We are delighted to announce that we now are stockists of Moschino eyewear, a stunning range that is verging on jewellery for the eyes. We also now stock the Kenzo designer range for men and the Kunoquist range from Sweden.

The process for looking at new ranges is a lot of talking with drinks in hand and decisions to be made.

Dandenong street works.

The work along Lonsdale st is continuing. We currently have no trees along Lonsdale st as new storm water drains are laid. The next stage is the demolition and re-building of the footpaths and streetscape. We are happy to see another new cafe/ restaraunt is about to open in the new office/ apartment buliding on the corner opposite. We also have a new Polish bakery cafe open in Foster st. So if it looks like we are putting on weight you will understand why.

Summer Sunglass Ranges

We are now receiving our new stock of Sunglasses. These include our popular brands Maui Jim and Oakley. We also stock Oroton, Fendi, CK, Nautica, Gant and Guess.

New Equipment

We now have a corneal pachymeter. This small hand held device measures the thickness of the cornea to with-in a millionth of a metre. This is useful in calibrating intraocular pressure measurements when assessing Glaucoma. It is also used in pre-operative assessment for laser eyesight correction.
